Ericsson 研發工程師 Charles Gore 說:「如果沒有以數學做研發工作,就如同不在工作桌上做事一般。我們設計新的調變合成器,應用 VisSim/Comm 驗證設計概念的時間比慣用的硬體原型機快多了。使用 VisSim/Comm 大約幾天就可確認我們的方法,否則需花費數週的時間設計、組裝與測試樣品電路。

 

 

VisSim/Comm 是一套點對點通信系統模擬軟體。它建構在 Visual Solutions  公司開發的 VisSim 模擬軟體上, 具有完整的通信系統方塊資料庫與超強的時域模擬引擎。 VisSim/Comm 快速精確的提供類比、數位與混合模式通信系統設計解決方案。  VisSim/Comm 的直覺拖曳式方塊圖形介面,讓使用者可輕易建立與修正系統模型,甚至是非常複雜的通信系統。 

工程師應用 VisSim/Comm 可自由移動建立系統模型的結構、執行模擬、最佳化與驗證工作。這種整合型發展平台允許工程師模擬與觀測通信系統鏈上任一部份的信號波形,很重要的是所有模擬與觀測波形的工作完全不必編寫任何一行程式碼。在 VisSim/Comm 早期版本推出時,行動電話設計製造的領導廠商 Ericsson 公司與 PCS 商用電子即採用作為研發用途。
